Now that I’ve finally ticked off all the races I set out to do this year, it’s time for me to head into the offseason. This year more than any other year I am reminded of how important rest is. Let me tell you why.
It’s Challenge Vietnam race week!
Last week was a bit of a blur as I battled jet lag, catching up on work, and making sure all systems are go for next week’s trip to Nha Trang for Challenge Vietnam.
In looking forward to my upcoming trip to Vietnam, I look back at the news that I missed mentioning… and the food that I explored on my past trip.

With five weeks to go until Challenge Vietnam and having missed the past two weeks of training, it’s tempting to try cramming as much as possible to get back up to speed.
