In our new reality, wearing a mask whenever I leave the house is important. But that also brings with it a new skincare challenge: wearing a snug-fitting mask can cause acne breakouts where the mask meets skin.
The pimples eventually heal, but I’d like to stop them from getting any worse — or stop them from forming at all. So when I discovered Hello Glow and their Blemish Miracle Set, I got really intrigued.
Imported and distributed by Ever Bilena (makers of Ever Bilena Cosmetics and my favorite makeup brand Careline), Hello Glow is K-beauty and made in Korea with skin-friendly formulations that promise to banish breakouts.
What makes Hello Glow Blemish Miracle Set so good for solving acne problems is its formulation with AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and BHA (beta hydroxy acids). These are very gentle exfoliants to help sweep away dead skin cells and sebum which clog pores and cause pimples. Exfoliating helps improve the appearance of skin, and BHA also refines pores that are enlarged due to blackheads. The Blemish Miracle Set also features natural skincare ingredients like Cintella Asiatica, licorice root extract, chamomile, rosemary leaf, and green tea extract.
The four products in the Blemish Miracle Set aren’t available for sale per piece, but I think they work well together rather than piecemeal, and they’re mild enough to be used daily. There’s a skin cleanser, pore control toner, acne corrector serum, and acne calming cream.

I like to use the Hello Glow Rose Water Soothing Gel as a light moisturizer after using the Blemish Miracle Set; it has aloe vera extract and hyaluronic acid which help seal in moisture.
The Blemish Miracle Set is cruelty-free, vegan, paraben and SLS-free, gluten-free, and alcohol-free. (Unfortunately for those sensitive to fragrance it does have a mild fragrance component.) The packaging says it’s best for oily and acne-prone skin but safe for all skin types; I’ve found this to be true. I don’t have oily skin, but the Blemish Miracle Set is mild enough for me to use daily without drying my skin.
