Cetaphil launched a new skincare line called Bright Healthy Radiance last October, but it’s taken me this long to write up a review because it took me that long to introduce each of the products into my skincare routine and determine if they worked for me or not.
What sets the Bright Healthy Radiance line apart from Cetaphil’s legacy skincare line is the active ingredients (what they call GentleBright Technology): Natural sea daffodil extract, and niacinamide (Vitamin B3). Natural sea daffodil extract is proven to reduce the intensity and color of dark spots, while niacinamide brightens, evening out skin tone. They are also manufactured in Korea, the homeland of many trendy and effective skincare products.

Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance Brightness Reveal Creamy Cleanser

I feel like this gently cleanses my face. I use it morning and evening, and my skin never feels tight after washing with it. Given that my skin is dry and dehydrated as well as sensitive, the Creamy Cleanser does what it needs to without stripping my face of precious moisture.

This was the first of all the Bright Healthy Radiance products I started using. I was having a bad breakout on my forehead, it was dry and itchy — and the Refresh Toner really soothed my skin. I love that it’s also somewhat hydrating on its own.

The Night Comfort Cream is one of the richest moisturizers I’ve used in a while, which makes it perfect as an overnight cream. Let your skin absorb all that beautiful moisture while you sleep. I always wake up with my skin looking rested, radiant, and bouncy with moisture.

The skin on my body isn’t as sensitive as that on my face, but I still appreciated how gently the Body Wash cleansed during my showers. My skin felt adequately moisturised even after the most vigorous of scrubbings.

I don’t really like using lotion since most of the time, my skin doesn’t even absorb lotion so it just sits on top of my skin. But this Lotion was very light and absorbed well.
(I didn’t really pay attention to the “lighten” part of the claims, though. I think people should be focusing on overall skin health rather than lightening their complexion.)

I’m currently using this now after using up my first bottle of the Body Wash. I like how moisturizing it is, but doesn’t dissolve unlike other moisturizing beauty bars when they get wet.
Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance Brightening Day Protection Cream SPF 15

This is the sole Bright Healthy Radiance product my skin didn’t take a liking to. After a few days of using this, I started to develop small pimples on my forehead. I think the added SPF clogged my pores, which caused this. (I actually tried to use this again after avoiding it for some time, and I still had the same reaction. Hindi talaga hiyang.)
As always, introduce skincare one product at a time to make sure you get the desired effect and aren’t wasting your money on something that might cause a negative reaction.
While I don’t believe in lightening skin, there still are benefits to the brightening effect when it comes to making sure skin tone is even and you lessen the appearance of dark spots. I also appreciated how moisturized my skin has been since I started using the Bright Healthy Radiance skincare line.
