Kikay Reviews: VitaMe Multivitamin

Nutrition is part of the puzzle of staying fit and healthy. While it may be a noble endeavor to try to get all nutritional requirements from real, whole foods, in the hectic modern lifestyle supplementation through multivitamins is the way to go. But if you can source your supplements naturally, why not?
Filipino company Saneshealth creates natural and functional supplements; their newest one is VitaMe, the first complete and natural multivitamin. It’s 100% GMO-free and vegan, manufactured in the USA and GMP Certified for complying with Good Manufacturing Practices standards in the US. This ensures everything written on the label is actually in the product.

You’ll notice on this label aside from the vitamin and mineral listing on the left, there are various other foods named on the right like barley grass, acai fruit, kale, shiitake mushrooms, ginger root, spirulina, flaxseed, digestive enzymes, and probiotics. In all, there are a mind-boggling tongue-twisting 88 ingredients in these tablets.

VitaMe
recommended dosage: two tablets, twice daily

Saneshealth sent me two packets of 30 tablets each, which was enough for two weeks if you took them at the recommended dosage of two tablets twice daily. Unfortunately, I kept forgetting to take the second daily dose, so I finished the packets in a month.

Despite my non-compliant dosing, I felt quite good during the test-run period. I have taken multivitamin supplements that ended up driving my immune system down within a week, so I was genuinely thrilled to have such a good experience with VitaMe. I do think it kept my nutrient stores topped up well so that I could recover from my gradually increasing training load.

There are many good multivitamins on the market, but if you’re looking for one that’s 100% natural, vegan, and GMO-free and sold by a Filipino company, VitaMe is a great choice.

VitaMe is currently sold in CrossFit gyms, FTX Fitness Exchange in Makati, LIFE Yoga in BGC, and Sugarleaf restaurant in Wilson Greenhills and Makati. They will also soon start to retail through Market Place by Rustans. VitaMe is also available online through the Saneshealth Facebook page and Marketa.ph. Follow @Saneshealth on Instagram.
