I only just lately realised I hadn’t done a review on the T8 Max O2 running mask, which I mentioned in my A Day in the Life vlog some weeks ago.
As previously mentioned, the Max O2 running mask is one of T8‘s newest products in their performance trail running gear line-up, necessitated by mandatory mask requirements for outdoor activity.
Here are the particulars from the T8 website:
Probably the world’s most breathable running mask. Runner designed and runner approved. NOT A MEDICAL MASK.
- Performance fabric for maximum breathability
- 3D SpaceBrace stays off your mouth / removable for hand washing
- Adjustable comfort ear loops
- Sweat wicking and dries in minutes
- One size fits most
- Dispose after 15-20 washes
- Premium Italian fabric – 90% polyamide, 10% elastane
WARNING: Intended for use in sports by healthy individuals and may help limit the spread of droplets. This covering has not been tested or certified as personal protection equipment or to other medical standards. Can be worn under a medical mask if required by your local regulations. Not recommended for use in crowded areas. Not a replacement for hygiene standards like washing hands and practicing safe social distancing. Please respect your local COVID-related laws.
When RaceYaya started offering the Max O2 running mask on their shopping portal, I snapped one package up quickly. The Max O2 running mask is available as a 2-pack, meaning there are two pieces in one resealable pouch. One of them went to me, while the other one went to my mom, who brisk walks twice a week and has been complaining to me about surgical masks getting waterlogged during vigorous activities.
It’s been a few weeks since the T8 running mask entered my sports mask rotation, so I figured now would be a good time to publish my review. Check it out below.
