Is this all too sudden? Can’t get to Clark on Sunday? You can also participate in Katuwi-RUN through a Virtual Run! A registered participant can run on or before the event… or even after the race. Just present/send proof (using a smartphone app or GPS watch) that you covered the distance you are registered in so the organizers can send your race kit and medal.

The Citizens for Promoting Human Rights (CFHR) Inc. believes human rights are innate to Filipinos. Respect for human dignity is a core value as embodied in the way Filipinos live out the principle of pakikipagkapwa-tao. That another person (kapwa tao) is somebody to be genuinely concerned about, which awakens a sense of community, sharing and love for your fellow people. CFHR maintains that the Philippines would be a better place to live in if only all Filipinos stand by the value of pakikipagkapwa-tao.

CFHR raises funds to provide aid to victims of human rights violations in the Philippines. They focus on fund-raising, partnership building and strengthening the public discourse on human rights.

I believe in safeguarding human rights for all, and so this is a cause close to my heart. I’m happy to support Katuwi-RUN via the virtual run sometime next week.
