Ironman Gurye 2019 Video Diary

If you’ve been following along on my social media, you’ll know I was in Korea two weekends ago to support friends racing Ironman Gurye. Unfortunately, a typhoon made landfall off the coast and made it impossible for organizers to hold the race. Over 1,000 athletes and their supporters were suddenly left raceless and purposeless.

While I can’t speak for all the athletes and how they felt and reacted, I wanted to show what I felt and experienced from the athletes I was with on that weekend. I really am so proud of how the Filipino contingent responded to the challenge put in front of them.

I hope you enjoy this video diary I put together.

My vlogs about my Korea adventures are far from done. I’ve got a few more up my sleeve, so please watch for my upcoming uploads. 🙂
