I’ve already signed up for the Clark Triathlon Classic happening on September 15 at Fontana, Clark, Pampanga, and I think it’s a great event to look forward to.
The Clark Triathlon Classic features Classic Full (individual and relay) and Classic Sprint distances, so whether you’re new to multisport or a seasoned contender there’s something for you.
The Classic Full category has a 700-meter swim, a 40-kilometer bike, and a 7-kilometer run. It’s longer than a sprint, but just short of Standard (Olympic) distance. If you don’t want to commit to an entire triathlon yet, you can also assemble a group of friends to do the Classic Full Relay. Split the swim, bike, and run among two or three athletes to divide the labor and multiply the fun π
The Classic Sprint category is half the Classic Full distance: 350-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike, and 3.5-kilometer run. If you just want to have fun swimming, cycling, and running, this is a great option.
Registration fees are currently on Tier 2 pricing until August 13, 2019.
- CLASSIC FULL: P3,300.00
- CLASSIC SPRINT: P3,200.00
- CLASSIC FULL RELAY: P6,300.00
If you miss the August 13 registration deadline, the price rises by P500 — so register now! Each race kit includes an event shirt in tech material, race bib, swim cap, bike stickers, security wrist band, timing chip, finisher medal, and post-race meal.

The Classic Full will be my longest triathlon of the year, and it’s a fitting way to end my racing season. I’m really enjoying the short stuff, but I am definitely feeling the length of this impromptu season. Still, after doing the Fasttwitch Enduro Triathlon back in May I know the GoClark guys are awesome at organizing fun yet challenging races.
Let me know if you’re going to be at the Clark Triathlon Classic!
