The Great Glide & Go Giveaway!

During my first road race back in 2010, I had a great time but ended up with chafing wounds under my arms. Over the years, I’ve learned that prevention is better than cure, which means I usually put a lubricant on my skin in places I usually chafe.

As a cheapskate, I have opted for petroleum jelly rather than the imported and expensive anti-chafing sticks you find at running stores. But petroleum jelly is messy because I have to take the goop out of the jar with my fingers and smear it. I usually find myself wiping the excess off on my clothes. (Also, petroleum jelly isn’t great for polyester products in the long run — and most tech running gear is made with polyester blends.)

Just recently, a fellow local runner created Glide & Go, an anti-chafing, anti-blistering stick product that’s Made in the Philippines. With the great value 100ml stick going for P500 and a handy 12ml stick priced at P100, Glide & Go is pretty good bang for the buck, and super convenient.

Glide & Go anti-chafing stick ingredient list

The ingredient list is pretty straightforward: beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, virgin coconut oil, and aloe vera extract are all familiar to me because they’re used in skincare and cosmetics. Zinc oxide is an ingredient in sunscreens. The only ingredient that was unfamiliar is Calendula, which I found out to be an herbal anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. Not only is Glide & Go meant to prevent chafing and blisters, but it also provides relief when you do get them. Sounds good to me!

The Glide & Go stick itself is an off-white color, pretty easy to glide onto the skin. A little goes a long way, and as you work it into your skin it melts into a clear, water-resistant barrier.

The 100ml stick also comes with a screw-cap top to keep all of this precious product fresh.

Right now these anti-chafing sticks are sold from the Glide & Go online shop as well as The Tri Temple on Chino Roces Avenue, so you can head over there and order.

  1. Glide & Go is new to me and one of my Running friends has a lot of positive feedback on the said product. I wanna win this to experience the comfort of Chaf worry-free Running especially when I train and join more long Distance Running Events and multisport events in the near future.

  2. I want a Glide & Go stick because I still want to use running shorts at times but inner thigh chafing is preventing me. I use Body Glide before but I cannot find it locally anymore since it was dropped by the local distributor here. Inner thigh chafing forced me to switch to compression tights, leaving lots of my running shorts rot in my closet.

  4. I usually run wearing long leggings to avoid chafing on my inner thighs. That’s why, i want to try and use this Glide & Go for me to experience chafe-free and comfort in running ?

  5. I want a Glide & Go stick because it is a non-conventional way of putting a cream in your chafed body area and blisters. Unlike petroleum jelly, GLIDE and GO has the following benefits:

βœ” Relieves and prevent chafing / blisters
    βœ” Non sticky
    βœ” Sweat and water resistant
    βœ” Hypoallergenic
    βœ” Long lasting
