Midnight Run 2012 on October 31

Wanna know what my next race is? It’s going to be Midnight Run on October 31!

I was supposed to register for this race last week, but didn’t. Good thing too, because Mizuno got me a kit and swung 4 more kits for me to give away!

Wag masyadong excited. Info about the race muna.

Midnight Run by Greentennial Run

The Midnight Run will take place on October 31 at 11:59pm (which means most of the running will be done early morning on November 1). Race starts at the People Power Monument on EDSA corner White Plains Avenue. There are two race distances: 5K and 10K, both priced at P600.

Check this out: it’s a costume run! Aside from your regular podium winners, there are also costume contest winners. The categories include: Most Frightening, Most Extravagant, Most Unique, Most Resourceful, Most Colorful, Cutest, Parent-Child Tandem/Family Costume, Run Team/Club Costume, Filipiniana, Super Hero, Retro, Iconic, Zombie/White Lady/Vampire/Werewolf, and Fabulous Diva.

Finishers get a finisher’s jacket, which is something new for races. I’m actually intrigued by the idea of running on EDSA, which I’ve never done.

Registration is at A Runner’s Circle (Aloha Hotel along Roxas Boulevard), Second Wind Running Store (Teacher’s Village, Ortigas Home Depot, and G-Strip), and Mizuno (Trinoma, Eastwood, Shangri-La, Bonifacio High Street, Alabang Town Center). See you at the race!

Oh, wait! Yes, I did say I have 4 race kits to give away.
