WWF Reverse the Bad Run

After being postponed due to bad weather, the World Wildlife Fund’s Reverse Run will finally push through on September 9 at McKinley Hill. Today (September 3) is the last day for registration at Chris Sports (Glorietta 3, SM Mall of Asia, SM Manila, and Fitness and Athletics at the Bonifacio Global City) and Skechers (Festival Mall, Market Market and TriNoMa). You can also register online. Registration fees are P500 for 3K or 6K, and P600 for 12K. All proceeds will go to WWF’s Reverse the Bad Program for students. Walang Plastikan: Race Against Plastics

A number of Metro Manila local governments have started implementing their no-plastic-bag ordinances. Pasay City takes educating its constituents one step further with its Race Against Plastics happening on September 9 at the Mall of Asia Complex.

Race categories and fees are 3K (P400), 5K (P500), and 10K (P600). You can register at Secondwind Running Store branches (Ortigas Home Depot, Teachers Village QC, and Greenhills), A Runner’s Circle (Aloha Hotel Roxas Blvd.), Pasay City Hall Office of the Vice-Mayor, and the Walang Plastikan booth at SM MOA near the bowling alley.
