The Nike Free RN Motion Flyknit 2 is now available at select Nike stores, and I was given the chance to test it out the other week at a Nike+ Run Club session. The following are my initial impressions. I would have loved to run in them for longer and more than one time, but we had to give them back at the end of the run. *sob* Continue reading “Kikay Reviews: Nike Free RN Motion Flyknit 2”
I’ve written about and mentioned Nike+ Training Club a few times in my blog. I first encountered NTC last year during Tights Night and Leap Year Day. I really enjoyed the circuit workouts then, so I downloaded the NTC workout app and began using it as part of my cross-training regimen. I also got to attend an NTC live session late last year.
The Nike+ Training Club relaunches this 2017! Starting March 4, NTC Live classes will be held on Wednesdays 8:30pm and Saturdays 10:30am at Kerry Sports Manila in Bonifacio Global City. You know what the really cool thing about this is? It’s absolutely free! Continue reading “Nike+ Training Club Manila Launch”
Nike launched their new Zonal Strength Tights two weeks ago, and a few of us from the media were given the opportunity to test them out during the weekly Nike+ Run Club Home Run event held at Bonifacio High Street.
Last year around this time Nike launched their Power Speed running tights, so I couldn’t wait to experience the difference between that innovation and this new one. Continue reading “Kikay Reviews: Zonal Strength Tights”
Last Saturday, Nike Run Club held an Open House event where runners could discover what NRC is about and what it can do for their running. Sessions were held in the morning and afternoon led by the Nike Run Club pacers as well as coaches Ian Banzon, Ico Ejercito, and Rio de la Cruz.
I dropped by in the afternoon because I’d missed the Thursday session due to my Singapore trip. I didn’t realize Bonifacio Global City, and Bonifacio High Street in particular, was a hive of activity on Saturdays! Thankfully the NRC tent was where it usually is, in front of the Nike Park store. Like I mentioned in my weekly wrap-up post on Monday, I’m going to tell you about the Nike Epic Run held last Saturday at Nuvali where we tested the Nike LunarEpic Flyknit running shoes.
I mentioned the midcut LunarEpics a few months ago that were launched alongside the twice-weekly Nike Run Club sessions. Now Nike has introduced low-cut versions for women with the same sole and insole technology to make you feel like you can run forever. Continue reading “Kikay Reviews: Nike LunarEpic Flyknit”
There are now only eight weeks left until the Nike Run Club Women’s Half Marathon happening on May 15, and if you’ve already signed up with your best girl friend you should be receiving the weekly training program. Last week was all about building endurance, and on Saturday afternoon the Nike Run Club held a group long run in Bonifacio Global City exclusively for the NRC Women’s Half Marathon participants, complete with coaches, pacers, and hydration and nutrition support.
Bonifacio High Street has been a hub for runners since 2009, and with the launch of the Nike Run Club last week, you’ll see a lot more runners converge on the commercial district every week for training.
The Nike+ Run Club (NRC) Manila is set to bring the best of Nike+ Running App services and programs into live events for runners of all levels in Manila. Jumping off from the flagship store at Nike Park Fort, NRC coaches Rio dela Cruz, Ian Banzon, and Ico Ejercito will lead sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to provide professional training and tips for runners.
