There’s only one week to go until Color Manila’s first Blacklight Run this year commences on May 27, 2017 at Filinvest City, Alabang. But that’s only the first leg of the tour, with two more races confirmed: Bacolod City on June 3 and Davao City on August 12.
It’s pretty amazing to see the Color Manila series grow year after year bringing its own particular brand of fun run into the country’s racing scene. These events are geared towards the enjoyment and social aspect of running, rather than the competitive aspect. The highlight of their fun runs is the color festival and music party that happens.
There are four race categories: 3K, 5K, 10K, and 6K Challenger (including obstacles). The pricing is flat across categories, depending on which kit you select.
CM Blacklight Run Manila registration fees and kit inclusions:
Deluxe kit (P950) – drifit shirt, headlamp, race bib, color packet and finisher’s medal
Rockstar kit (P1,500) – drifit shirt, headlamp, race bib, color packet, drawstring bag, foldable water bottle, face paint tube, and finisher’s medal
6K Blacklight Challenger kit (P2,000) – two (2) drifit shirts, headlamp, race bib, color packet, drawstring bag, foldable water bottle, face paint tube, and finisher’s medal
You can still register for CM Blacklight Run Manila online, at SM Tickets kiosks, and at RUNNR (Trinoma, Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street), Toby’s Sports (Glorietta, SM Mall of Asia and SM Megamall) and Second Wind.
For CM Blacklight Run Bacolod and Davao, there are 3K, 5K and 10K categories. Again the pricing is flat whatever distance you choose, and only varies between the Deluxe, Rockstar and Superstar kits.
