Road to SuBIT, Week 10: Sydney Sidetrip

Hello once again, Philippines! I’m so happy to be back home after two long weeks away, and finally getting back into training. I only have four weeks to go until the Subic Bay International Triathlon and suffice it to say I might be underdone. But I have absolutely no regrets about being away for Super League Hamilton Island and then taking the better part of a week to see Sydney, a city I have often read and heard about but had never been to. Super League Hamilton Island Wrap-Up

It’s been a super-intense week of racing action — and I’m not even talking about how hard the athletes went during the three days of Super League Hamilton Island.

As part of the small but agile team running the show, I was tasked with ensuring we had high-quality content going up on the website and timely press releases going out to media. I also got tasked with odd jobs, like manning the VIP reception desk and putting together research about athletes and special guests for use on the television broadcast. BDJ Women’s Summit 2017 (Ticket Giveaway!)

Womens Summit
BDJ Women’s Summit

A few weeks ago I was invited to speak at the Woman Up! pocket event held by Belle de Jour Power Planner. I felt really recharged and inspired seeing so many empowered women in one venue. I was so happy when BDJ invited me to attend their second Women’s Summit “Women Can. Women Will.” happening on March 25, 2017 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura.

The BDJ Women’s Summit aims to inspire and empower more women to become catalysts for change, and their list of invited speakers are heavy hitters in their respective fields. They will share their respective stories, advice, and insights on various topics and advocacies that will hopefully open hearts and eyes, broaden knowledge, and strengthen a can-do attitude with action-oriented goals.

Tickets are priced at P500 (but keep reading for a chance to go for FREE). Continue reading “BDJ Women’s Summit 2017 (Ticket Giveaway!)”
