JBL-Harman Launches Active Lifestyle Audio

Music plays a big part in my active lifestyle. Many of you know how I love making Spotify playlists to accompany my training, and I usually have a song that becomes the theme of each of my races.

So when it comes to sound quality, I don’t settle for any old speaker or earphone. I’m an avid yurbuds fan, and when yurbuds was acquired by JBL-Harman I knew big things were going to happen for my favorite sports earphone. First it was yurbuds powered by JBL so you could enjoy the earphone that never hurts and never falls out with signature JBL sound. Just last month, JBL-Harman announced its latest product lines for the active lifestyle, and the earphone lines now incorporate yurbuds technology. Not only does JBL cater to endurance sports enthusiasts (in the case of yurbuds), but also to extreme sports aficionados, outdoor warriors, and people generally on the go.

JBL Grip for extreme sports

The JBL Grip in-ear headphones uses Twist-Lock technology (formerly just found in yurbuds) to keep them in place even while you’re in motion, and FlexSoft eartips (also from yurbuds) ensure comfort. If you like doing tricks on your BMX bike or a skateboard, you can do them accompanied by your own personal soundtrack.

JBL Reflect

The JBL Reflect line is the world’s first sport headphone that gives athletes the ability and option to allow ambient sound in as well as cancel noise. The Ambient Aware (TM) app you can install on your smartphone allows you to control the amount of ambient sound you hear in each ear.

(Watch out for a collaboration between JBL and a big sports brand next year!)

Not only does JBL carry earphones, but also wireless portable speakers so you can take music with you everywhere you go and enjoy it with friends.

The speakers are rugged and splashproof, so you can take them poolside or out hiking in less than perfect conditions and not be afraid of ruining them. You can also link these speakers up in a “daisy chain” using Bluetooth so you can have even bigger sound. The JBL Xtreme and JBL Charge 2+ can also charge other devices through USB port so you’re never left without your tunes or your mobile devices on any expedition.

Thanks JBL-Harman and Cascos for the invitation to your product launch last month!
