The Distance Dilemma at Run United 1

Last January I received a complimentary race kit to participate in Run United 1, the first leg of the RunRio Trilogy. I chose to compete in the 10K category. To my surprise a lot of people wondered why I’d go for a shorter distance when I already have half- and full marathons under my belt.

Speedo NAGT Subic: Baby, One More Time

My team Endure Multisport has made the Subic International Triathlon our “A” race for the year, which means all of us who are members have to join it. Prior to last Sunday, I’d only done one tri at the 2010 Speedo NAGT Ayala Alabang, and its conditions are vastly different from what I’ll experience at SuBIT.

Condura Skyway Marathon 2011

With many thanks to the Condura organizers, I got complimentary (and early!) registration to Metro Manila’s first marathon event of the year. Since this year I’m focusing on speed instead of distance, I opted to do the half-marathon (also known as a Pikermi) just so I could compare how much I’ve improved as a runner since last year’s Condura Run.
